Our mission includes work towards raising awareness in appropriate forums about various issues affecting the people of India. This awareness-raising would be accomplished by organizing discussion series, invited talks and study groups. MAC intends to act as a network for various grass-roots workers and volunteers and non-governmental organizations.

MOTHER AND CHILD WELFARE AND RESEARCH FOUNDATION INDIA (MAC), would provide our community with an organization recognized as the leader in its field and dedicated to the training, education, and development of children, young adults and adults with multiple disabilities aimed at maximizing each individual’s potential.

MOTHER AND CHILD WELFARE AND RESEARCH FOUNDATION INDIA (MAC), will maintain a state-of-the-art school, a life skills center and offer lifelong programs and services designed to accomplish this mission by providing a learning environment with a functional atmosphere and a multi-disciplinary team approach.

MOTHER AND CHILD WELFARE AND RESEARCH FOUNDATION INDIA (MAC), will be an advocate for the integration and inclusion into society of all persons with with Multiple Disabilities, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, etc. and other developmental disabilities from birth and throughout their lifetime.

MOTHER AND CHILD WELFARE AND RESEARCH FOUNDATION INDIA (MAC), will provide families of individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities with continuing support and serve as a lifetime resource for the adjustments they will have to make in their lives by virtue of having a child with Multiple Disabilities, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment, etc. or other developmental disability.
